I had no idea that Virago meant "a woman of pugnacious temperament", which indeed it does.
And in contrast Savage is fierce, ferocious, inhuman, cruel, truculent.
Just from the definition the Virago must be meant for me! Hope you all are laughing, because I am. I truly am a pugnacious woman. (ask the SO, who when told I was thinking of a new bike, said "When are you selling the Savage then?" and I replied, "Maybe I will and Maybe I won't")(But we really don't have room, the one car garage only fits the Savage and a car.)
